Happenings Around Alta Vista

About 2:30 in the morning of September 14th, a series of fires was set in the alley between Magnolia and Huisache, in the portion between San Pedro and Breeden. A couple of cars and a garage were destroyed, along with other property damage along the alleyway, and utility lines and junction boxes for AT & T, Grande Communication, CPS, and Time-Warner lines were damaged or destroyed. Investigation is on-going, and because of the involvement of utilities, the FBI may be made a part of the investigation. Call police or the Alta Vista NA Help Line if you have any information.

Alta Vista Howl-Aween Pet Costume Parade

October 26th

The Alta Vista Neighborhood Association will be holding its first-ever annual Halloween pet parade to be held Sunday, October 26th, 2008, at 2:00pm in San Pedro Springs Park. There will be doggie and human treats and the costume contest with prizes.
