Early last July, I saw these two vultures in the vacant lot at Breeden and W. Summit, munching on a squirrel carcass. I had seen the birds before in the neighborhood, but this time I had my camera. They were large birds, over two feet tall.
More frequently we see hawks circling the area. Anyone get a picture of other area wildlife (no, I don’t mean party pictures)? Send ‘em if you do.
